We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate or Funds Paralegal to join our team at EJ Legal Limited. As a Corporate or Funds Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our lawyers in transactional matters, including M&A, funds, and banking transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Organizing and Updating Precedent and Transaction Bibles: You will be responsible for maintaining and updating our precedent and transaction bibles to ensure they are accurate and up-to-date.
- Drafting Shareholder Agreements: You will assist in drafting shareholder agreements, ensuring that they meet the requirements of our clients and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assisting in Due Diligence: You will work closely with our lawyers to assist in due diligence, reviewing and analyzing documents and information to ensure that our clients' interests are protected.
- Reviewing and Drafting Documentation: You will review and draft various documents, including contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, to ensure that they are accurate and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Drafting and Reviewing Board Minutes: You will draft and review board minutes, ensuring that they accurately reflect the decisions made by the board and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assistance with Compliance Policies and Procedures: You will assist in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures to ensure that our clients' interests are protected and that we comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Legal Research: You will conduct legal research to ensure that our lawyers have the most up-to-date information and advice on transactional matters.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Corporate or Funds Paralegal who has a strong academic background and previous transactional experience. You will have a Law degree or equivalent qualification and have worked in a similar role in a law firm or in-house environment.
You will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and deadlines. You will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
