About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Brand Designer to join our team at Polygon Labs. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for elevating our visual identity and bringing complex blockchain concepts to life through design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Leadership: Develop and maintain high design standards across all branding efforts, ensuring consistency and cohesion across all touchpoints.

  • Brand Development: Create a visual language that translates complex blockchain and crypto concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible designs, leading the evolution of the Polygon Labs brand identity.

  • Storytelling Through Design: Use your design expertise to tell the Polygon Labs story, engaging crypto-native users and those new to Web3, creating dynamic visuals for marketing campaigns, product launches, and community engagement.

  • Cross-Platform Design: Develop cohesive and visually appealing assets across multiple platforms, including websites, social media, mobile apps, and in-app experiences.

  • Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with marketing, product, and development teams to deliver innovative and consistent branding, partnering with internal teams to ensure design solutions support broader business and product goals.

  • Design for Community: Develop branding and visuals that engage and resonate with the broader crypto community, tapping into crypto-native trends, aesthetics, and cultural references to keep the brand relevant and exciting.

  • Innovative Motion Design: Experience in motion design is a must, enabling you to create animated graphics and video content that bring the Polygon Labs brand to life.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in brand or visual design, ideally within the tech, finance, or blockchain industries, with experience in designing for decentralized platforms or crypto projects a major plus.

  • Crypto Knowledge: Familiarity with blockchain, DeFi, or decentralized platforms.

  • Creative Tools: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, and other motion design tools like Blender or C4D a bonus.

  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to pivot between projects and explore new creative directions as needed.
