North Bristol NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to take on a strategic leadership role in our Emergency Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of person-centred, safe, and effective patient care by Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs).
The successful candidate will provide professional leadership for the strategic direction of all ACP activity within the Emergency Department, including service development, workforce planning, innovative role development, recruitment and retention, training and development. They will also be responsible for developing a post-credentialled training programme to ensure career progression for our credentialled ACPs.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing professional supervision and development to underpin the provision of sustainable high-quality services.
- Developing a post-credentialled training programme to ensure career progression for our credentialled ACPs.
- Working in partnership with higher and further education institutes, University of the West of England (UWE), Health Education England, the Clinical Commissioning Group, and NHS England to ensure delivery of educational programmes that meet the requirements and create a workforce responsive to the needs of patients and the organisation.
As a member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will demonstrate leadership qualities and support with the day-to-day operation of the business as required. You will also be responsible for identifying and celebrating excellence in our clinical and non-clinical workforce, including internal and external award nominations.
