Project Engineer - FMCG

MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading manufacturing business to find a skilled Project Engineer to join their team in Blackpool/Preston.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Planning and Control: Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner to establish a comprehensive process for developing project financials, including support for business cases, managing project expenditure timelines, and forecasting future spending.
  2. Engineering Strategy Implementation: Assist the senior project team in implementing the engineering strategy and framework for the assigned project.
  3. Resource Management: Oversee the management of materials, equipment, and labour within the designated budget and resources, ensuring safe, effective, and efficient service delivery on the project.
  4. Communication and Quality: Communicate all systems, design information, procedures, and quality systems effectively.
  5. Technical Support: Provide technical support to project delivery teams by reviewing and verifying their work.
  6. Project Assurance: Lead or assist with project assurance by conducting audits and holding regular meetings with project teams, identifying best practices, areas for improvement, and concerns related to safety, finance, or quality.

Requirements:

  1. HND/BEng or equivalent
  2. Experience with projects in an FMCG environment

Working Hours: Day shift.
