Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Specialist to provide financial support in our team at Educators Wales.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in accounts and finance management, delivering high-quality administrative, financial, and accounting services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Business Manager in ensuring efficient and effective functioning of financial services.
  • Maintain accurate budget monitoring and reporting processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in finance management and accounting.
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills.
  • Able to work efficiently and effectively in a dynamic environment.

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of £24,294 per annum, based on 37 hours per week and term-time only (47 weeks). The post is subject to a DBS disclosure check, and safeguarding and protecting children and adults at risk is a top priority for Pembrokeshire County Council.

Welsh language skills are desirable. Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will not be treated less favourably than applications submitted in English.
