Job Description Overview

This Junior Risk Management Specialist position plays a critical role in Liberty Specialty Markets' Actuarial Department, evaluating business performance and providing management with a clear, risk-based view for making decisions on business strategy and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities include gaining experience in different business functions and products, building strong networks and working relationships with actuarial and non-actuarial colleagues, and contributing to the development of underwriting rating tools, among other tasks.

To succeed in this role, you should be educated to degree level with strong mathematical skills, have a desire to work across various actuarial functions and environments, and possess natural curiosity and problem-solving skills.

Average salary for this role in London is around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
