Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our client's finance team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager to provide financial leadership and support to the business.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing financial transactions, coordinating timetables, and owning accounting processes. Experience in forecasting and budgeting, as well as a strong understanding of technical accounting, including IFRS and UK GAAP, is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage month-end financial transactions and coordinate timetables
- Own accounting processes, including PBH accounting, inventory, and payroll-related entries and analysis
- Perform variance analysis in support of monthly submissions
- Reconcile balance sheets
- Support the provision of up-to-date accounting systems representing current business and contract structures
- Support the control of accounting system master data structures
- Produce accounting inputs to management accounts, budgets, and forecasts, including liaison with Business Unit finance stakeholders
- Produce ad-hoc reporting
- Support the Finance Reporting Manager in their relationship with external auditors and ensure timely fulfillment of deliverables requests during full-year audit processes
