Job Title: MET Technician

Clear Automotive is seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our team in a prestigious accident repair centre. As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for removing and refitting mechanical and electrical trims, panels, and components on vehicles. Your expertise in stripping and rebuilding work will ensure that all vehicles are restored to their pre-accident condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remove and refit mechanical and electrical trims, panels, and components
  • Ensure stripping and rebuilding work is carried out in a professional and correct manner
  • Dismantling vehicles for panel area preparation
  • Carrying out inspections, fault finding, and diagnostic work
  • Re-assembling vehicles with new parts as required
  • Stripping and fitting components, bodywork, and trim elements
  • Following manufacturer repair methods to return vehicles to pre-accident condition
  • Performing road testing (if applicable)
