We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Support Worker for Children with SEN, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one and group support to students with Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Assist teachers and therapists in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and supporting student learning.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, promoting positive relationships with students, teachers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to support student learning and behavior.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of behavior management plans, ensuring a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Previous experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential).
- Valid DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Passion and drive to work with children, with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
- Ability to use initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team.
