Data Strategist

Lloyds Bank plc is seeking a highly skilled Data Strategist to join its Social Sustainability team in Business & Commercial Banking (BCB). This exciting opportunity involves leveraging expertise in research, data engineering, analysis, interpretation, and reporting to drive social sustainability performance.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of socio-economic challenges in the UK and commercial focus areas within Lloyds Bank. They will be adept at manipulating large datasets, analyzing demographic data, and delivering strategic insights to inform business decisions.

This role requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce reports, presentations, and communications that effectively convey complex ideas and data to various stakeholders.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to accelerate purpose-driven social sustainability performance with a focus on commercial outcomes.

• Act as a subject matter authority on social sustainability data and insights.
• Provide data-driven recommendations across UK socio-economic priorities and underserved business owner communities.
• Develop and maintain data tools and dashboards to support targeting underserved business communities.
• Evaluate market trends and deliver compelling reports to colleagues in BCB.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Data Analysis and Engineering: Strong proficiency in using Excel, Power BI, and Gen AI solutions.
• Critical Thinking: Ability to see the bigger picture and understand strategic imperatives across the portfolio of activity.
• Research/Insight/Data/Client Experience: Conversant with research methodologies and customer-centric focus in design of data capture initiatives.
• Handling Complexity: Ability to produce clear and concise reports/presentations and communications.
