About the Role- Liaise with HMRC on clearance applications, enquiries, and other matters
- Draft reports and letters of advice on tax advisory issues
- Prepare calculations to support tax advice
- Collaborate with clients and attend meetings with team members
- Train and review the work of junior staff members
- Support Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group
- Advise on corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs, staff incentive schemes, and more
- Assist owner-managed businesses with remuneration planning, succession planning, and tax returns
- Prepare research and development claims, VAT returns, and SDLT returns
- Provide tax planning advice to individuals on IHT and CGT mitigation
- Accounting, Finance, or relevant tax/accountancy qualification
- Knowledge of tax software and databases
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
