Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of complex data sets to identify trends and insights.
  • Data Platform Architecting and Engineering: Design and develop integrated data and analytical platforms for NHS Scotland.
  • Architecting and Engineering of Complex Data Processing and Data Wrangling Routines: Develop innovative data processing and data wrangling routines to support data analysis and insights.
  • Architecting and Engineering of Innovative Data and Advanced Analytical Solutions: Design and develop cutting-edge data and advanced analytical solutions to support business decision-making.
  • Pro-actively Contributing to Service Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance data-driven decision-making.

Requirements
  • Demonstrable Experience: Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing innovative data, BI, and analytics solutions.
  • Knowledge of Building Data Products: Strong understanding of building data products, including ETL/ELT.
  • Writing and Management of Code: Ability to write and manage code for data analysis and processing.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in data analysis and insights.
  • Passion for Making a Difference: Strong passion for using data and analytics to drive business outcomes and improve lives.
