About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk and Compliance Assistant to join our Risk and Compliance team at a leading law firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong understanding of the firm's AML policies and procedures, as well as keeping up to date with prevailing AML regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the AML Manager in monitoring compliance of the firm's risk procedures, including CDD, Source of Funds, and High-Risk client forms.
  2. Conduct screening to identify PEPs, sanctions concerns, and other regulatory and reputational risks.
  3. Respond to and resolve AML queries.
  4. Profile and organize client KYC in the correct manner.

Requirements:

  1. Good legal knowledge.
  2. Good risk & compliance knowledge from a law firm or legal services environment.
  3. Good AML, CDD, PEPs, Sanctions, Conflicts, and source of funds experience.
