Cpl UK Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Intervention Professional to join their team at a special school in Buckinghamshire. This Band 5/6 role offers the opportunity to work with children and young people with Autism and other complex needs, providing occupational therapy services and supporting multidisciplinary teams.

About the School

The school provides specialist therapy services to children aged 0-18 years, who present with various complex needs and diagnoses. The team follows a 3-step approach to delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions:

  • Identify: Comprehensive assessments identify areas of strength and challenge for each child.
  • Educate: Knowledge and understanding of each child's unique needs are shared with those working with them.
  • Accelerate: Personalised therapy plans are created to address specific needs and support children to reach their full potential.

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide occupational therapy services to children and young people with complex needs.
  • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement therapeutic plans.
  • To identify and assess children's needs, developing tailored intervention strategies.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Paediatric Occupational Therapy (e.g., MSc) is desirable.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
