About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our financial reporting team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of financial reporting and auditing are carried out in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with prescribed systems and procedures.

Main Duties/Areas of Responsibility
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare management accounts, complete on time, accurately and thoroughly, and pass on for manager review.
  • Audit: Complete planning documentation, perform the role of the senior representative on site, and conduct all relationships with the client in a professional manner.
  • Tax: Deal with complex business tax computations, including corporation tax, and prepare personal tax returns for manager/director review.
  • Client: Deliver the service and develop the relationship, communicate by letter, telephone, and face-to-face in a professional manner, and provide not just basic information, but also notes of a 'what if' nature.
  • Controls: Take account of budgets in utilization of own time and overseeing juniors' time, own time management, and ensure that all laid down systems, processes, and procedures are complied with.
  • Team: Provide daily feedback to all direct reports, review jobs and give clear, constructive feedback, and take an active participation in the personal and professional development of all direct reports.
Experience & Skills

We are looking for a candidate with experience in ensuring that all aspects of financial reporting and auditing are carried out in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with prescribed systems and procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical thinking skills, proficiency in MS Office, and a strong understanding of financial reporting and auditing principles.

The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
