Job Title: Quality Assurance and Safety Expert

We are seeking an experienced QSHE Manager to join our client, a leading food manufacturing business in Buckinghamshire. This role will focus on setting and achieving the highest standards for safety, food safety, and product quality within the industry.

Salary and Benefits:
£60,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus 10% discretionary bonus, 25 days holidays + bank holidays, 7.5% pension, private medical care, and a flexible Monday – Friday schedule.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and management of all QSHE employees and be the voice of quality, safety, health, and environment.
  • Oversee all food safety and regulatory compliance initiatives, including HACCP, SQF, and FSMA.
  • Manage all health, safety, and environmental issues in line with local legislation, working with functional departments to ensure compliance.
  • Lead customer and third-party audits as appropriate.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Background Experience:
  • 8+ years of quality/HSE leadership in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Degree in Food science or related field, Masters preferred.
  • NEBOSH Diploma qualified would be preferred.
  • Lead auditor certification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
