Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Transport for Greater Manchester, specifically for the role of Teaching Assistant SEN Expert. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to students in the catering and hospitality kitchen, focusing on developing transferable employability and life skills.

As a key member of our team, you will maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene, work closely with the Catering and Hospitality Lead Teacher to ensure effective teaching and learning, and ensure that resource requirements of the department are effectively met. This role demands a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, younger learners, and vulnerable adults, as well as a deep understanding of diversity and inclusion principles.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene in the teaching kitchen.
  • Work closely with the Catering and Hospitality Lead Teacher to support teaching and learning.
  • Ensure resource requirements of the department are effectively met.

Salary: £24,223 per annum
