Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our team as a Band 7 Physiotherapy Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to take on a leadership role in our critical care physiotherapy service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating the Physiotherapy Service provided to critically ill patients and other medical and surgical patients across the hospital.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of physiotherapists in the delivery of physiotherapy services to critically ill patients and other medical and surgical patients.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Work closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care for patients in the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain own continuous professional development (CPD) and incorporate new trends and developments into practice.
  2. Train, supervise, and performance manage other physiotherapists, technical instructors, assistants, and students.
  3. Demonstrate and apply a sound understanding of Clinical Governance and Risk Management.
Requirements
  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Evidence of postgraduate experience across core specialities in an acute hospital setting.
  • NHS experience as a Band 6 and above.
Salary and Benefits

Estimated salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.
