Job Title: Senior Building Control Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Control Surveyor to join our team at South and Vale District Council Careers.

About the Role:

As a Senior Building Control Surveyor, you will be responsible for administering building regulations, the Building Act, and other associated legislation. You will assist the Principal Building Control Officer with service plan implementation, meeting service standards, and performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validating, examining, and determining applications submitted under building regulations and associated legislation.
  • Recording detailed and accurate records within our computerised systems.
  • Instigating enforcement procedures as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Class 2A-2F registration with the Building Safety Regulator.
  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience working in building control, either within Local Government or the private sector.
