About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Enterprise Flex-E-Rent. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for undertaking all wiring, mechanical/hydraulic assembly and inspection of Acklea products as directed in technical drawings and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake all wiring, mechanical/hydraulic assembly and inspection of Acklea products as directed in technical drawings and customer specifications.
  • Assist other trade personnel as required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
  • Undertake maintenance, inspection and repair activities at customer depots as directed by the Workshop Supervisor or the Workshop Manager.
  • Undertake general workshop duties.
  • Actively suggest and encourage quality improvements to Acklea products and systems.
  • Demonstrate good fault diagnostic skills.
  • Maintain good productivity levels.
  • Ensure the correct PPE is worn/used and report any failings through the reporting procedure.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly, is legible and handed in on time.
  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner both at Acklea, in customer depots and whilst driving, treating members of the public with courtesy at all times.
  • Highlight any shortfalls or issues relating to safety or maintenance immediately to the appropriate manager.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area and ensure all tooling and specialist equipment is checked, tested and compliant in line with company policy.
  • Maintain sufficient security measures to prevent theft of company/personal property.
