About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team in the Swindon/Slough Corridor area. As a Mobile Plumber, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining plumbing systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and appliances using hand and power tools.
  • Assist with works outside your normal skill set as required.
  • Work across multiple projects and minor works as requested.
  • Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Repair and maintain plumbing, replacing defective washers, replacing or mending broken pipes, and opening clogged drains.
  • Study building plans and inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs, to establish the sequence of pipe installations, and to plan installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring.
Requirements
  • Recognised Plumbing/ITI qualification.
  • Demonstrate experience with installation and maintenance of plumbing and piping.
  • Experience of working within Building Services environments.
  • Able to be appointed as a TP for hot and cold-water systems.
  • Understanding of statutory compliance legislation.
  • Thames Water Passport – Gain and maintain.
