Job Title: Head of Engineering Project Management

We are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering Project Management to join our R&D team at Blatchford. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional engineering project teams and driving project execution through our stage gate framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Functional management of a small but growing team of Project Managers
  • Collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to manage technical deliverables and drive projects forward
  • Facilitating creation of product development roadmaps and defining accurate NRE budgets
  • Supporting commercial and clinical requirements into our 3-5 Innovation Roadmap
  • Recruitment, development, and coaching of the Engineering Project Management team
  • Defining and reporting on measures and KPIs for all product development projects
  • Managing project risk and proposing timeline and budget plans to executive leadership
Requirements:
  • BSc or equivalent in Engineering
  • Extensive experience in medical device development, including leadership roles in all phases of product development
  • Demonstrated experience of direct management and leadership experience
