Job Title: Financial Services Assistant with Legal Focus

As an Accounts Assistant/Finance Assistant, you will be part of a team working closely with the department lead who will provide one-to-one coaching and training to develop you into a legal cashier (legal accounts/legal finance role).

The role includes processing and posting of client and office accounts, conducting reconciliations, and updating ledgers. You will also support the Purchase Ledger team to process incoming invoices, produce bills, transfer funds between accounts, reconcile and post payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing and posting of client and office accounts, conducting reconciliations, and updating the ledgers.
  • Supporting the Purchase Ledger team to process incoming invoices.
  • Producing bills and transferring funds between accounts.
  • Reconciling and posting payments.
  • Allocating incoming client account payments.
  • Providing support with the company credit card account to ensure all payments are accounted for correctly.
  • Handling, banking and posting incoming cheques.

Requirements:

  • Current experience within an Accounts Assistant role or similar, such as; Finance Assistant, Legal Cashier, Assistant Legal Cashier, Accounts Clerk, Finance Clerk.
