Falkland House School Perth is an independent residential school for boys and girls from 12 to 23 years of age. Our young people have a range of Additional Support Needs including emotional and behavioural difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

The Role

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Falkland House School Perth. As a Support Worker, you will work with our young people to support their daily needs, promote their independence, and help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the young people with their daily needs, including personal care and medication
  • Encourage and support the young people to participate in activities and engage with their community
  • Work with the young people to develop their life skills and promote their independence
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the young people receive the best possible care and support
Requirements
  • Experience working with young people with Additional Support Needs
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with the young people and their families
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and be available for on-call shifts
