We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Postperson with Driving to join our team at Royal Mail. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across our delivery area.
About the Role
This is a permanent contract position, working 30 hours per week, 5 days a week, with shift times between 08:00 and 13:00. You will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, and will be expected to work in all weather conditions.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.54, paid monthly, with overtime paid at 1.25 times the normal hourly rate. You will also receive 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service, and a company pension scheme with competitive contribution rates.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong sense of community and take pride in what you do. You will also need to be happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather. A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points is also required.
