Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join our vibrant Womenswear Branded Buying & Merchandising team. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for delivering sales and profit targets, building strong relationships with our brands, and driving performance rate through effective planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create departmental plans and strategies to deliver sales, total stocks, GSM, markdown, availability targets, and option count.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our brands, ensuring commercial and customer aspirations are met.
  • Deliver in-season actions that maximise sales and profit opportunities, meeting agreed targets and presenting regular business reviews to drive performance.
Requirements
  • Assistant Merchandiser level experience in a fast-paced retailer, ideally with Branded Merchandising experience.
  • Strong merchandising skills, including Department Plan development, stock/commitment management, sales estimates, and GSM knowledge.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and interpretive skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills to foster collaborative engagement with brand partners.
  • Able to initiate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, influencing where needed.
