About this role:
Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated individual to support the Voluntary Services team in providing a good service to the Trust's volunteers. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing information to volunteers, answering the telephone, and updating staff members on any new information.
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work as part of a team, and have experience of an administrative role. They will also be able to commit to at least one morning or afternoon each week.
The role involves a range of administrative tasks, including looking up and adding information on the database, sending out emails or letters to volunteers, and contacting new volunteers to ensure all is going well.
The successful candidate will be provided with training and ongoing support, and will have the opportunity to develop their skills and experience.
Key tasks include:
- Providing information to volunteers
- Answering the telephone
- Updating staff members on any new information
- Sending out emails or letters to volunteers
- Contacting new volunteers to ensure all is going well
- Collating information
- Other administrative tasks as required
Essential requirements include:
- Volunteers must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- All Volunteers will require a DBS check
- Participation in the training relevant to your role and confidential discussion of any reasonable adjustments required to meet your needs
