Undisclosed Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and execute scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime
- Respond promptly to mechanical breakdowns and diagnose faults to minimize production losses
- Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate records and reports of maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 5 or more GCSEs at A-C grade, including English, Mathematics, and Science
- Time-served mechanical apprenticeship
- Counterbalance forklift license (advantageous)
- Experience in FMCG production
- Previous experience in a BRC Certified workplace
- Machining and welding skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Self-motivation and ability to manage workload
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and good timekeeping
- Computer literacy and analytical skills
