Job Overview

Thornbury Community Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Female Paediatric Complex Care Nurse to join our team in the Nottingham area. As a valued member of our community-based care team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with complex care needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centered care to children with complex care needs in a community-based setting.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and support to families and caregivers to promote independence and self-advocacy.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based care.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months of UK-based experience in paediatric complex care.
  • Recent experience in key skills such as Bag and Valve Mask via Ventilation, Nasal Pharyngeal Suctioning, Chest Physio- Percussion/Vibrations, Care and use of Gastrostomy, and Epilepsy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, to meet the needs of our clients.
