We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to a core team of staff on our male adult mental health ward.
The successful candidate will have a current professional registration with the NMC and a strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act. You will be required to work rotational days and night shifts, as well as participate in the Duty Nurse Coordinator rota.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership to a core team of staff on the male adult mental health ward
- Form therapeutic relationships with patients and their families
- Work collaboratively with service users and their families/carers
- Provide clinical supervision to individuals or groups
- Supervise or assess students on practice placement
- Work in a multi-disciplinary team
- Contribute to quality improvement activities
- Current professional registration with the NMC
- 18 months post-qualifying experience
- Recognised Practice Supervisor and/or Practice Assessor, clinical educator or equivalent
- Trained in Clinical Supervision and providing clinical supervision
