About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Department Practitioner to join our team at Ashtead Hospital. As a key member of our Theatre team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the safe and efficient running of our operating departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the Theatre team to ensure smooth and efficient operating department operations
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care and departmental activities
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills

Requirements

  • ODP level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards and guidelines
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Sound computer skills and knowledge
  • Registered member with the HCP
