Kinesiology Specialist

CBI Health is seeking a highly motivated Sports Medicine Professional to join its Whitby clinic. This role presents an exciting opportunity for growth and development within Canada's leading community healthcare provider.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics and be registered with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. They will also possess excellent communication skills, time management abilities, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Treat patients in a gym setting, focusing on motor vehicle accidents, LTD, WSIB, and private cases.
• Work under the direction of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in matters related to treatment, progression, and client management.
• Design and implement therapeutic exercise programs tailored to meet individual client needs.
• Complete employer assessments, including Physical Demands Analysis (PDA), Post Offer Employment Testing (POET), and Functional Abilities Evaluation (FAE), to confirm job capability.
• Prepare progress and discharge reports as delegated by treating clinicians.
• Assist clinicians with return-to-work planning.
• Maintain a clean and organized gym area, free from safety hazards.
