We are seeking an outstanding candidate to join our team as a Lecturer in Transportation Planning. The successful applicant will contribute to teaching and research in urban transportation planning, with a strong commitment to innovative, interdisciplinary urban research.

The Urban Studies subject area is a world-leading centre for urban research, with significant impact. The appointment will be a key part of our team, working on theory, practice, methods, and applications in transportation planning.

We are looking for a candidate with expertise in urban transportation modelling and/or policy analysis, and a demonstrable interest in socially-just, smart/intelligent, active, and sustainable transportation systems. Attractive candidates will have a track record of peer-reviewed publications, presentations in international academic conferences, research funding, and teaching experience.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. with a minimum of 2 years' research experience at postdoctoral level or equivalent research profile, in terms of publications and presentations, in the fields of urban studies, planning, geography, management, public administration, economics, or a related field.
