Senior Clinical Pharmacist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Appoint Group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and driven Clinical Pharmacist to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our pharmacy team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacists and providing clinical expertise to support the delivery of high-quality patient care. This will involve developing and implementing policies and procedures, providing guidance and support to junior staff, and contributing to the development of the pharmacy service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of pharmacists and provide clinical expertise to support the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
  • Contribute to the development of the pharmacy service and ensure it is aligned with the organization's strategic objectives
Requirements
  • Pharmacy degree (Master/Batchelor)
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • GPHC registration with no restrictions
  • Postgraduate Clinical Diploma and/or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience working in a similar role within a hospital setting is essential
  • Significant specialist medical knowledge acquired through training and experience
  • Medicines Management experience gained in a Hospital environment across a range of specialities
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Prescriber qualification desirable
