Cyber Security Director

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director to lead our Financial Services Cyber Security practice. As a key member of our Technology and Data service line in Advisory, you will be responsible for driving the growth and development of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) services in the Financial Services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an IAM strategy for the Financial Services sector, working closely with our leadership team and alliance partners.
- Originate and lead the delivery of IAM engagements to clients, contributing to the leadership of our IAM capability.
- Grow our current footprint to meet market demand and clients' issues, exploiting adjacencies across our current engagements.
- Build relationships with other parts of the firm to bind offerings together and lead our relationships with IAM alliance partners.
- Work collaboratively with our IAM capability leadership on people management to enable the strategy to be successful.
- Connect and enable our business transformation work with IAM and shape the future of IAM through innovative services and tools.
- Originate and lead on sales opportunities, developing relationships internally and externally and building a pipeline of opportunities.
- Lead the delivery of security engagements, defining people requirements to strengthen our team of cyber security resources and leading the recruitment of these resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree qualification.
- MBA or Master's degree (desirable).
- Experience of working in the Financial Services sector, including working with large, global organisations.
- Experience of working at the senior level as an IAM Lead and Consultant.
- Commercially aware and with industry relationships that will enable achievement of revenue in the region of £1.5+ million per year.
- Wide industry exposure with a depth of technical security knowledge and experience in IAM.
- Experience and knowledge of the regulatory environment facing clients in the FS sector, with a particular focus on technology, cyber security and privacy relevant regulations.
- Proven experience of successfully leading, managing and delivering cyber security and technology advisory and assurance services to large/medium, multi-national clients.
- Proven experience of delivering IAM advice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to explain technical issues to a non-technical audience, extensive relevant sales experience, negotiation and project management skills.
- Sound understanding of risk management in professional services environment.
- Extensive Cyber Security consulting experience is desirable.
