Trainee Lettings Negotiator Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Lettings Negotiator to join our team at Magnus James in Sheffield.

We are seeking a driven and ambitious individual who is looking to start their career in the lettings industry. As a Trainee Lettings Negotiator, you will work in a small, friendly team who work collaboratively to achieve the best possible results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with telephone and face-to-face enquiries, providing high levels of customer service at all times.
  • Carrying out viewings and obtaining feedback.
  • Negotiating new tenancies with landlords and tenants.
  • Preparing tenancy agreements, issuing legal documents relating to the tenancy and ensuring that all safety certificates are in place prior to move in.
  • Working with the property management team ensuring that properties have been prepared for move in.
  • Ensuring a smooth handover of keys and that tenants are satisfied.
  • Conducting inspections.
  • Ad hoc property manager duties.

Requirements:

  • Experience within a similar Lettings Negotiator role is advantageous.
  • Sales/ Customer Service experience.
  • Previous experience of using Microsoft Office packages.
  • You must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
