As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and a high level of motivation among our staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring seamless execution of duties
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Head Chef to manage the restaurant diary and bookings
  • Conduct monthly stock takes and report discrepancies to the General Manager
  • Maintain the hotel's high standards of appearance and quality at all times
  • Manage linen, cleaning products, and other relevant stock
  • Oversee bar and wine stock, including cigars and banqueting stock
  • Develop and manage staff rotas
  • Manage staff holiday and lieu time
  • Oversee the department's annual budget
  • Ensure regular staff training and updates
  • Maintain up-to-date allergen information with menu changes
  • Attend and contribute to weekly HOD meetings
  • Perform additional front-of-house duties as requested by the General Manager or Owners
  • Assist in recruitment and social media activity
  • Respond promptly to guest comments to prevent complaints
