Job Description:

We are currently looking for a highly skilled Health & Safety & Environment professional to join our team at Dairy Consumer Foods in Coleraine.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a positive change culture that aligns with our 'Safety First, Quality Always' ethos.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting Factory Management Teams: As the primary lead and coordinator for Health, Safety activities processes on the site, advising management teams on legal requirements, industry best practice, and prevailing group standards.
  2. Driving the Safety Agenda: Working in conjunction with site management team and regional HSE lead to drive the Safety agenda incorporating training, accident investigation, culture and staff involvement, administration, insurance compliance, setting and improving standards etc., and in accordance with wider employee engagement programmes.
  3. Preparing and Delivering Training Programmes: Preparing and delivering induction, training programmes and H&S skills/awareness trainings.
  4. Culture Change Reinforcement: Driving culture change/reinforcement of good safety cultures - creates the forums and opportunities to involve and communicate.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory level in a medium-sized/multi-site manufacturing or service company.
  • NEBOSH certification would be an advantage.
  • Food industry experience would be an advantage.
