Quality Project Engineer

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is currently supporting a strategic client in the recruitment of an experienced Quality Project Engineer to join their growing team in the design, development, and manufacture of batteries for their state-of-the-art gigafactory on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent Quality and the "voice of the customer" in the development of product and processes in the industrialisation of products.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams during the development.
  • Utilise lessons learnt during product development processes to ensure continuous improvement of the Quality, APQP, and NPI procedures.
  • Initiate and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support and develop control of production COP requirements and audits.
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level in an Engineering or Quality-related subject.
  • Certified 6 sigma Green Belt would be advantageous.
  • Core Tools certified (APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP/Control Plan).
