Job Title: Graduate Sustainability ESG

Location: Staines - Salary: £25,000

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Sustainability ESG to join our team. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our ESG and sustainability strategies, ensuring compliance with global standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ESG & Sustainability Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive ESG and sustainability strategy that aligns with our corporate ethos and addresses global standards and investor expectations.
  • ESG and Sustainability Reporting: Produce annual reports in line with regulations, global frameworks, and investor requirements, managing the gathering and analysis of environmental impact data.
  • BSI 14001 Standard Management: Oversee the enhancement of our Environmental Management System (EMS), maintaining its certification.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships across various levels, including employees, clients, and industry partners, to foster a collaborative approach to ESG and sustainability.
  • Supplier Engagement: Collaborate with suppliers to advance sustainable practices, ethical sourcing, and responsible production, with measurable improvements.
  • Ethical Practices: Uphold and promote ethical operations encompassing fair labor practices, diversity, and anti-corruption policies.
  • Innovation & Best Practices: Stay abreast of industry trends, integrating them into our practices for continuous improvement.
  • Glidepath to Net-Zero: Develop a clear transition program with recognized milestones and certifications, such as Eco Vadis and SBTI.

Requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in ESG, sustainability, business, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred, with special consideration for recent postgraduate applicants.
  • ESG Exposure: Exposure to ESG & Sustainability, preferably in the workplace technology sector. Familiarity with ESG reporting, Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions, and BSI 14001 management.
  • Communication and Leadership: Strong skills in communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership.
  • Analytical Thinking: Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to Sustainability: A dedicated focus on promoting social responsibility and sustainability as key drivers of positive change.
  • Strategy Development: Insight into sustainability management and strategic planning.
