Nursery Leader Position

Bright Horizons Palmers Green Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Room Leader to join our team. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team to deliver high-quality care and education
  • Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for children
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and carers to meet the individual needs of each child
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
