Support Workers Wanted

Lifeways, a leading provider of supported living healthcare services in the UK, is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Support Workers. This role presents an excellent opportunity for those passionate about making a positive impact in their local community.

We are looking for staff who are able and willing to drive company cars, therefore a full UK Driving Licence is required. If you have previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant, we encourage you to apply. Alternatively, if you are new to care but have a passion for helping others lead their most independent lives, Lifeways can offer you excellent training and ongoing support.

This service is suitable for people with learning disabilities, autism, or physical disabilities. Our team thrives on supporting the people we support to lead more fulfilling, independent lives.

Estimated salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum. Benefits include discounts and cashback at high street shops, cycle to work scheme, access to employee assistance program, and Blue Light Card.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with varying needs
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care and medication management
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
