We are seeking a highly skilled Optometrist to join our team at Costco Wholesale. As an Optometrist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional eye care services to our members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Eye Examinations: Conduct thorough eye examinations to diagnose sight problems and provide personalized recommendations for corrective lenses or other treatments.
  • Prescription and Fitting: Prescribe and fit spectacles or contact lenses to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on proper eye care and hygiene practices, including the use and maintenance of contact lenses.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other medical practitioners to ensure comprehensive care for patients with chronic ophthalmic conditions.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and mentor dispensing opticians and clerical staff to ensure seamless delivery of eye care services.
  • Practice Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of practice policies and procedures to ensure exceptional patient care.
Requirements:
  • Education: Hold an Optometry degree approved by the General Optical Council (GOC).
  • Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
