Facilities Maintenance Professional

About the Job:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Facilities Maintenance Professional to join our team at EMCOR UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all cleaning activities are carried out to the highest standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and clients.
Job Description:
- Undertake daily cleaning tasks, maintaining good housekeeping of equipment and consumables, as well as storage areas.
- Respond promptly to any service shortfalls identified and take corrective action where necessary.
- Conduct daily maintenance on machinery, as trained, and report any issues to the relevant authorities.
- Perform additional or special cleans as instructed by senior staff members.
- Ensure adequate stocks of consumables are available in nominated cleaning stores and request replenishments as required.
- Attend training sessions as necessary to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Use chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with customers and clients in a professional manner, escalating issues as required to ensure resolution.
- Work safely at all times, reporting any health and safety risks or hazards to the relevant authorities.
Person Requirements:
- Prior experience in workplace cleaning would be advantageous.
- Demonstrate good time-keeping and a methodical approach to work.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Be able to read and speak English fluently, ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including opportunities for career development and progression.
