The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects from inception to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and installation engineers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Hold regular meetings with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Identify and mitigate commercial and technical risks, ensuring the project remains on track.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring they meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the Power Transmission industry.
- Strong leadership skills, including team management and communication.
- Ability to plan and schedule work activities using Microsoft Project.
- Commercial acumen and ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Experience in subcontractor management and vendor relationships.
- Current driving license and willingness to travel, with occasional stays away from home.
- Experience working with NEC3/4 contracts.
- APM Practitioner Qualification or equivalent recognized Project Management Course.
- Experience in project proposals and bid work.
