Economic Regeneration Specialist

**Job Overview**

We are seeking an Economic Regeneration Specialist to join our team at North West Leicestershire District Council. As a key member of our Economic Regeneration Team, you will play a crucial role in driving economic growth and development across the district.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in supporting events and working on town centre, heritage, arts, events, or visitor economy initiatives. You will be able to quickly build rapport and maintain good relationships with a varying range of people, including internal colleagues, voluntary and community organisations, businesses, and other public agencies.

In this role, you will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of initiatives to contribute to the delivery of economic regeneration across the district. A key part of this role will be to support our Senior Economic Development Officer to deliver activities that drive more visitors to our town centres.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Support the development and implementation of economic regeneration initiatives
• Work closely with internal colleagues, voluntary and community organisations, businesses, and other public agencies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives

**What We Offer**

• An annual salary of £27,711 - £31,067
• 25 hours per week flexible working arrangement
