Therapist for Adult Social Care

We are recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Locality Team in East Hull. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting individuals who require long-term adult social care support.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients with complex multiple needs, including moving and handling, minor and major adaptations, and equipment provision. You will also conduct Occupational Therapy assessments, provide interventions and rehabilitation, and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community and be registered with the HCPC. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including free onsite parking and the opportunity for additional training.
Main Responsibilities
- To manage a caseload of clients with complex multiple needs.
- To conduct Occupational Therapy assessments and provide interventions and rehabilitation.
- To supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in adult social care.
- HCPC registration.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Car driver essential.
