Senior Veterinary Nurse Leader

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is proud to offer a permanent position for a Senior Veterinary Nurse Leader with one of the UK's largest veterinary retailers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the dynamic team in Tottenham and enjoy a rewarding role with a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum.
As the post holder of this role, you will be directing the day-to-day running of the clinical team, lending a hand where needed, and being a role model in your duties. You will also have managerial skills to optimise workflow, be involved in appraisals and auditing of clinical care, and inspire and motivate the team.

Working Hours: This is a Full-Time role working 40 hours per week, including working 1 in 3 weekends.
Requirements:
- Must hold a relevant qualification in veterinary nursing (e.g., Level 3 Diploma or a degree in Veterinary Nursing)
- Must be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) or equivalent governing body
- Relevant clinical experience working in a veterinary practice or hospital
- Proficiency in general nursing duties such as patient care, administering medication, and monitoring anaesthesia
- Experience in handling various animal species (small animals, exotics, or large animals, depending on the practice)
- Knowledge of animal anatomy, diseases, and treatments
- Strong general nursing skills and excellent customer service
- Positive, down-to-earth, and passionate about animal care
- The ideal candidate will be proactive and enthusiastic, with solid all-round skills
- Key to success will be the ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care
