About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Neighbourhood Officer to join our team at Together Housing. As a key member of our Neighbourhood Services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality tenancy management services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Management: You will be responsible for showing customers around empty properties and carrying out lettings in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Customer Support: You will provide advice and assistance to our residents on all housing matters, including information on legal rights, responsibilities of their tenancy agreement, and managing any welfare and safeguarding concerns.
  • Neighbourhood Engagement: You will be the point of contact for housing management services on a patch, including the enforcement of the Association's conditions of tenancy, particularly in relation to the condition of property and/or garden.
  • Team Collaboration: You will work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service and meet all performance objectives.
Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence: You will need a full UK driving licence and access to a car as the role is field-based.
  • Housing Experience: You will have experience and knowledge of housing/lettings or ideally social housing.
  • Customer Service Skills: You will have experience of working with a diverse range of customers and dealing with a variety of situations.
  • Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: You will be able to manage confidential and personal information appropriately and sensitively.
  • Resilience: You will have personal resilience to deal with a fast-paced, demanding role juggling a number of tasks at once.
