Join Our Team as a CNC Engineer Apprentice

Devenish Nutrition Limited is a leading provider of environmental, animal, and human health solutions. We are seeking a talented CNC Engineer Apprentice to join our team in Belfast.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to start their career in Maintenance and Engineering within a manufacturing environment. As a CNC Engineer Apprentice, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing mechanical and electrical applications and solutions
  • Implementing planned preventative maintenance
  • Supporting manufacturing operations
  • Applying engineering assembly methods and techniques
  • Working with robotics and process control systems
  • Ensuring food and feed safety
  • Maintaining a safe working environment

In return, our Apprenticeship programme will provide you with a nationally recognised qualification in Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, alongside gaining technical and practical skills.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 GCSE's at Grade C or above, including Maths and one other STEM subject
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, such as Excel
  • Organisational and methodical skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to attend a day release college course
  • Flexibility and adaptability
